HES Facilities is hiring an Assistant Custodial Manager to join our operations team in Prescott, Yavapai County. This full-time role supports the day-to-day oversight of custodial operations at educational facilities, ensuring clean, safe, and welcoming environments for students, staff, and visitors.
About the Role
As an Assistant Custodial Manager, you'll work alongside our Custodial Manager to coordinate cleaning operations, supervise custodial staff, and maintain the highest standards of facility cleanliness and hygiene across school buildings and grounds. This is a hands-on position that combines leadership, operational management, and facility inspection responsibilities.
What You'll Do
- Assist in planning and executing daily custodial schedules and operations
- Supervise and direct custodial team members on assigned tasks and projects
- Conduct facility inspections to ensure cleaning standards and maintenance quality
- Manage inventory, order cleaning supplies, and control costs
- Address maintenance issues and coordinate with other facility departments
- Train custodial staff on proper procedures, equipment use, and safety protocols
- Communicate with school administration regarding facility needs and updates
