EHS Analyst – Calca Solutions

About the Role

As an EHS Analyst at NewMarket Services, you'll be at the center of our environmental, health, and safety initiatives. You'll identify opportunities to strengthen our programs, implement improvements, and oversee their execution to ensure our Westlake facility operates safely and responsibly. Your work will be essential to maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations while supporting our commitment to continuous improvement in site performance.

What You'll Do

• Develop and oversee environmental compliance programs for air quality, wastewater management, and hazardous waste handling
• Monitor and document regulatory requirements at the federal, state, and local levels to keep operations compliant
• Identify cost-effective solutions that reduce compliance expenses while maintaining the highest safety standards
• Support and reinforce workplace safety programs, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and other life safety protocols
• Conduct inspections and assessments to identify potential EHS risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and management teams to integrate EHS best practices into daily operations
• Maintain detailed records and reporting required for regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Strong working knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations applicable to industrial operations
• Experience managing environmental programs (air quality, wastewater, hazardous waste, or similar)
• Familiarity with lockout/tagout systems, personal protective equipment (PPE), and industrial safety practices
• Excellent organizational and communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external regulators
• Attention to detail and a commitment to thoroughness in compliance documentation and reporting
• Proactive problem-solving ability to identify risks before they become issues
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
