Quality Technician I

Toppan Teq is hiring a Quality Technician I for our Huntley, Illinois facility. This is a full-time position working the second shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM). If you're detail-oriented and ready to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards, we'd like to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Quality Technician I at our Huntley, McHenry County location, you'll be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our manufacturing output. Working under general supervision, you'll inspect products throughout the production process, identify quality issues, and take corrective action to protect our customers from defects. This is a hands-on role where your attention to detail directly impacts product excellence and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Conduct systematic inspections and testing of products to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications
• Document inspection findings, test results, and quality metrics in accordance with company procedures
• Identify defective or suspect products and quarantine them from distribution to prevent quality escapes
• Communicate quality concerns and observations to supervisors and production team members
• Follow established quality control protocols and standard operating procedures
• Maintain accurate records and reports to support continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work the second shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) consistently
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects
• Basic math skills for recording measurements and data
• Reliable attendance and commitment to safety standards
• Willingness to follow documented procedures and quality protocols
• Manufacturing or quality control experience is a plus, but training will be provided
