About the Role

As a Manufacturing Associate with Corning in Newton, NC, you'll play a key part in our production operations. Working on our manufacturing floor, you'll contribute to the creation of materials that serve industries from telecommunications and consumer electronics to life sciences and environmental solutions. You'll be part of a team committed to delivering quality products and maintaining the safety standards that define our operations.

What You'll Do

• Operate production equipment and monitor processes according to established procedures
• Perform quality checks on materials and finished products to ensure they meet specifications
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment and follow all safety protocols
• Record data and maintain accurate production documentation
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
• Report equipment issues or concerns promptly to keep operations running smoothly

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and work safely in a manufacturing environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work as part of a team
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials as needed
• Prior manufacturing, production, or assembly experience is a plus
