About the Role
As a Real Estate Legal Assistant at our Fort Lauderdale office, you'll provide essential support to our real estate team, working on a range of commercial and residential real estate transactions, closings, and related matters. This is a hands-on position where you'll develop deep expertise in real estate law processes while contributing directly to client success.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and organize closing documents, title work, and real estate transaction files
- Schedule and coordinate closings, inspections, and other real estate-related appointments
- Draft correspondence, lease summaries, and other real estate-related documentation
- Conduct research on property titles, deed restrictions, and zoning regulations
- Maintain and organize real estate client files and transaction records
- Support attorneys with real estate due diligence, document review, and transaction management
- Interface with clients, title companies, lenders, and other parties to facilitate smooth transactions
What We're Looking For
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Interest in real estate law and willingness to learn
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Fort Lauderdale
