Corporate Communications Intern

Sage, an international academic publisher, is seeking a Corporate Communications Intern based in Nashville, Davidson County to join our communications team. This paid, part-time internship begins in summer 2025, requires 15–25 hours weekly during standard business hours, and may extend into future semesters based on performance and continued interest.

About the Role

As a Corporate Communications Intern at Sage, you'll work directly with our communications department on meaningful projects in academic publishing. You'll gain hands-on experience in communications strategy, content development, and stakeholder engagement while supporting a publisher that serves the global scholarly community. This internship provides practical, real-world introduction to communications and publishing careers.

What You'll Do

• Support the creation and distribution of internal and external communications materials
• Assist with content development for company publications, newsletters, and digital channels
• Help coordinate communications around company announcements, events, and campaigns
• Research industry trends and competitive landscape to inform communications initiatives
• Contribute to stakeholder relationship management and engagement activities
• Support social media and digital outreach programs
• Assist with employee communications and internal engagement efforts

What We're Looking For

• Current student pursuing a degree in communications, journalism, marketing, business, or related discipline
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences
• Interest in or knowledge of the publishing, media, or communications sectors
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and standard digital tools
• Self-directed approach to work with strong organizational skills
• Capacity to balance multiple projects in a collaborative team setting
• Openness to feedback and willingness to grow professionally
