About the Role
As Assistant Branch Manager at Everwise Credit Union, you'll provide on-site leadership and direction for our Elkhart branch's service center staff. What You'll Do
- Lead and supervise service center staff, fostering a culture of accountability and member-focused service
- Direct daily branch operations and coordinate activities across departments
- Maintain compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and operational procedures
- Monitor performance metrics and work toward branch performance goals
- Provide member service leadership and resolve escalated member issues
- Support hiring, training, and professional development of branch team members
- Ensure branch operations reflect Everwise Credit Union's service standards and member expectations
What We're Looking For
- Proven supervisory or management experience in financial services, retail, or a related field
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of credit union operations or banking compliance preferred
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to member service and team development
- High school diploma or GED required; some college or related experience preferred
- Ability to work on-site at our Elkhart branch location
