About the Role
This is a full-time litigation position with a firm that has built a strong reputation representing healthcare providers across a range of complex legal matters. You'll work on cases centered on reimbursement disputes involving commercial healthcare claims—work that demands both deep legal expertise and practical business acumen.
What You'll Do
- Handle litigation matters for healthcare provider clients navigating commercial health insurance disputes and reimbursement claims
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, discovery documents, and motion practice materials
- Manage client communications and coordinate with healthcare industry stakeholders
- Prepare for and represent clients in hearings, depositions, and trial proceedings
- Analyze complex healthcare reimbursement issues and develop litigation strategy
- Maintain client relationships while delivering results on time and within scope
What We're Looking For
- Licensed to practice law in Connecticut (required)
- Demonstrated experience in civil litigation and healthcare law matters
- Strong legal research, writing, and courtroom advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and complex client needs simultaneously
- Detail-oriented approach with high standards for accuracy and professionalism
- Experience or familiarity with healthcare provider operations and commercial insurance is a plus
