ELEVI Associates is hiring a Sr Systems Administrator for our Annapolis Junction office in Anne Arundel County. This is a full-time position that requires an active Poly clearance and offers the opportunity to manage critical infrastructure and IT systems supporting government and defense programs.
About the Role
As a Sr Systems Administrator at ELEVI Associates, you will take ownership of enterprise systems, infrastructure, and IT operations supporting sensitive programs. This role demands deep technical expertise, security awareness, and the ability to manage complex system architectures in a compliance-heavy environment.
What You'll Do
- Design, deploy, and maintain secure IT infrastructure and systems across multiple environments
- Manage user access, system hardening, and security controls in compliance with government standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues affecting system availability and performance
- Implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with program requirements
- Collaborate with engineering teams and program stakeholders to ensure systems meet operational demands
- Monitor system health, capacity, and security posture; provide regular reporting and recommendations
What We're Looking For
- Active Poly clearance (required)
- Fourteen years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Demonstrated expertise in systems administration, infrastructure, and IT operations
- Strong knowledge of security protocols and compliance frameworks
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively
