Director, Consulting

We're seeking a Director of Consulting to lead strategic engagements and build our consulting practice at Kizen, a full-time position based in New York, US. This role reports directly to senior leadership and shapes how enterprise clients adopt AI-driven solutions to transform their operations.

About the Role

As Director of Consulting at Kizen, you'll lead the strategic consulting function, overseeing the delivery of enterprise solutions, managing key client partnerships, and driving business growth through deep industry expertise. You'll work primarily in our New York office (Grand Central area) with an expectation of in-office presence four days per week, collaborating directly with cross-functional teams and clients to solve complex business challenges.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a growing consulting team, setting performance standards and fostering professional development
• Oversee the strategy and execution of high-impact client engagements from scoping through implementation and optimization
• Build and nurture relationships with enterprise clients, identifying expansion opportunities and ensuring long-term satisfaction
• Develop and refine consulting methodologies, best practices, and delivery frameworks that reflect Kizen's approach
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure seamless integration of AI solutions into client workflows
• Contribute to sales strategy, including proposal development and go-to-market planning for new service lines
• Track and improve key metrics such as project profitability, client retention, and team utilization

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience leading consulting practices, service delivery teams, or large client-facing initiatives
• Deep understanding of enterprise software adoption, change management, and business transformation
• Strong business acumen with ability to manage P&L, pricing, and resource allocation
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills at the executive level
• Strategic mindset combined with hands-on capability to solve problems and guide implementations
• Ability to operate in a fast-moving, collaborative environment and drive results with limited supervision
