General Manager

Flynn Wendy's is seeking a General Manager to lead restaurant operations at our Hopelawn location in Middlesex County. This full-time position offers the opportunity to direct a high-performing team within one of the nation's largest Wendy's franchises.

About This Position

As General Manager, you'll oversee all operational aspects of a busy Wendy's restaurant in the Hopelawn area. You'll be responsible for building a strong team, maximizing profitability, and consistently delivering the quality and service that customers expect. This role combines leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on restaurant management—you'll set the tone for your crew and ensure every shift runs smoothly.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and develop restaurant staff to maintain optimal coverage and performance
• Manage food preparation quality, food safety standards, and operational compliance
• Oversee inventory control, ordering, and supplier relationships
• Monitor labor costs, food costs, and overall restaurant profitability
• Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and operational readiness of the facility
• Drive customer service excellence and address customer concerns professionally
• Execute corporate promotions and local marketing initiatives
• Complete required reporting and documentation for franchise oversight

Who We're Looking For

• 2+ years of restaurant management experience in a quick-service environment
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
• Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and operational procedures
• Experience with restaurant POS systems and basic financial management
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Commitment to quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
