IL – Material Handler

What This Role Involves

As a Material Handler, you'll be the backbone of our warehouse and inventory operations. You'll work in a fast-paced environment managing goods from receipt through storage and shipping, ensuring materials are organized, accessible, and ready for distribution. This role demands attention to detail, physical capability, and a commitment to safety in everything you do.

Core Duties

• Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy against documentation
• Store materials and goods in designated locations using appropriate organization systems
• Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts or pallet jacks, safely and efficiently
• Prepare orders and organize materials for shipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent injury and loss
• Support inventory management and record-keeping as needed

What We're Looking For

• Physical ability to lift and move materials regularly (up to 50 lbs or more)
• Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics roles preferred
• Valid driver's license (for potential equipment operation)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and work independently or as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Willingness to learn new processes and equipment
