Montgomery County is hiring a Building Services II professional to maintain and support critical county facilities in West Norriton and surrounding areas. This full-time position offers the opportunity to ensure our public buildings remain safe, clean, and properly maintained for residents and county employees.

What This Role Involves

As a Building Services II team member, you'll perform essential facility maintenance and repair work across Montgomery County properties. Your contributions will directly impact the day-to-day operations of important public spaces, including courthouse facilities and the Justice Center. You'll handle diverse tasks ranging from preventive maintenance to urgent repairs, working both independently and as part of a larger facilities team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver supplies and materials to county buildings and departments
• Remove snow and ice from parking areas, walkways, and building entrances during winter months
• Perform interior and exterior painting on county facilities
• Complete minor carpentry repairs and building modifications
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and address facility needs promptly
• Operate and maintain building equipment safely and correctly
• Complete work orders and report on maintenance activities
• Support a clean and safe environment for county operations
