Role Overview
As a Fire Alarm Technician with TechFlow, Inc., you'll maintain and service advanced fire alarm systems protecting Fort Jackson facilities. Your Responsibilities
- Install, test, and commission fire alarm systems and components per code and manufacturer specifications
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on alarm panels, detectors, addressable devices, and notification appliances
- Troubleshoot system faults, diagnose equipment issues, and execute repairs on-site
- Document service work, maintenance records, and system modifications in compliance with military and civilian standards
- Respond to service requests and emergency calls across Fort Jackson grounds
- Maintain current knowledge of fire codes, safety regulations, and system technology updates
What We're Looking For
- NICET II certification in Fire Alarm Systems
- Hands-on experience installing and servicing commercial fire alarm equipment
- Working knowledge of fire detection, notification, and signaling system design
- Ability to interpret technical plans, wiring diagrams, and system documentation
- Strong troubleshooting, technical communication, and organizational skills
