Receiving Clerk

Harvest Technical Services is hiring a full-time Receiving Clerk at our San Jose, Santa Clara County facility. In this hands-on operations role, you'll manage the flow of incoming goods, verify shipments for accuracy, and coordinate distribution to ensure efficient warehouse operations.

Position Summary

As a Receiving Clerk with Harvest Technical Services, you'll be the first line of quality control for all incoming shipments. Your work directly impacts inventory accuracy, fulfillment speed, and operational efficiency. This is a full-time position based on-site in San Jose, requiring attention to detail, organizational discipline, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming shipments for damage, missing items, and accuracy against purchase orders
• Log receipt information into warehouse management systems and spreadsheet applications
• Organize and categorize received materials according to inventory standards
• Coordinate proper storage and staging to maintain clear warehouse flow
• Identify and report discrepancies, shortages, or quality issues to management
• Support outbound distribution and fulfillment operations as needed

Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency with spreadsheet software (Excel) and warehouse management or receiving software
• Strong organizational and tracking abilities in a multi-task environment
• Ability to read and verify shipment documentation accurately
• Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain (preferred)
• Clear communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
• Ability to stand, lift, and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs regularly
