What This Role Involves

As a Drain Cleaner at McClain Bros Inc, you'll perform professional drain cleaning, sewer scoping, and hydro jetting services that keep our clients' plumbing systems running smoothly. You'll diagnose drain issues, recommend solutions, and execute repairs using state-of-the-art equipment and proven techniques. Your work spans routine maintenance plans, urgent emergency calls, and specialized services like backflow testing that demand precision and skill.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform drain cleaning and sewer scoping for residential and commercial clients
• Operate hydro jetting equipment and other specialized plumbing tools safely and effectively
• Respond to emergency service calls and prioritize urgent plumbing issues
• Execute backflow testing and preventative maintenance as part of scheduled service plans
• Document work completed and provide clients with clear explanations of findings and recommendations
• Maintain equipment in good working order and adhere to all safety protocols

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a drain cleaner or in plumbing maintenance and repair
• Proficiency with hydro jetting equipment, sewer scopes, and standard drain-cleaning tools
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to identify root causes of drainage problems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced, customer-facing environments
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues to clients clearly
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites in Bristol and surrounding areas
