About the Role
This position is designed for graduate‑level students pursuing a career in applied behavior analysis. You will work directly with children and families, implement individualized treatment plans, and receive ongoing supervision toward certification milestones.
What You'll Do
- Conduct skill assessments and help develop behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
- Provide one‑on‑one therapy sessions in home, school, or clinic settings, focusing on communication, social, and adaptive skills.
- Collect and graph data on client progress, ensuring accurate documentation for treatment adjustments.
- Support behavior technicians and registered behavior technicians by modeling techniques and offering feedback during sessions.
- Participate in weekly team meetings, case reviews, and professional development workshops.
- Maintain compliance with ethical guidelines, company policies, and state regulations governing ABA practice.
What We're Looking For
- Current enrollment in a master’s program in behavior analysis, psychology, education, or a related field.
- Holding a Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Demonstrated interest in working with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow complex protocols.
- Effective communication abilities for collaborating with caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary team members.
- Reliable transportation to travel to client locations across Waco and surrounding McLennan County communities.
- Commitment to completing required supervision hours within the program timeline.
