About the Role

As a delivery partner, you’ll transport meals from local restaurants to customers’ doorsteps, using your own mode of transportation while choosing when and how often you work. You’ll manage your own schedule through the app, accept orders that fit your availability, and aim to provide a smooth experience for both restaurants and diners.

What You'll Do

• Accept delivery requests through the Uber Eats driver app.
• Pick up orders from partner restaurants and verify accuracy before leaving.
• Navigate to drop‑off locations efficiently and safely using GPS.
• Provide courteous service and follow any special instructions from customers.
• Maintain a clean and safe vehicle or equipment throughout each shift.
• Report any issues with orders or app functionality to support promptly.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and local ordinances.
• Track earnings and manage your schedule within the app for personal planning.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum age of 19 (or as required by local law).
• A valid driver’s license, registration, and insurance if using a car; or a reliable bike/scooter if applicable.
• Access to a smartphone that can run the Uber Eats driver app.
• Ability to lift and carry food orders safely.
• Good knowledge of the Colona, Henry County area or willingness to learn using navigation tools.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to professionalism.
• Comfortable using GPS and map applications for route planning.
• Ability to work independently and stay motivated without direct supervision.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as demand fluctuates.
• Basic problem‑solving skills to address unexpected delivery challenges.
