Senior Project Coordinator, Distribution

Welty Shared Services is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator, Distribution to join its team in Collier, Allegheny County.

About the Role

This full‑time position supports the delivery of distribution‑focused projects by assisting project managers with planning, tracking, and execution tasks. The coordinator works closely with internal teams and external partners to keep initiatives on schedule, within budget, and aligned with safety and quality standards.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, updating timelines as scope or resources change.
• Track key milestones, deliverables, and budget expenditures, preparing regular status reports for stakeholders.
• Coordinate meetings, distribute minutes, and action items to ensure clear communication across all parties.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and change orders, using established filing systems.
• Assist with resource allocation, identifying needs for personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Support risk identification and mitigation efforts, escalating issues to project leadership when appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate the closeout process, compiling final documentation and lessons‑learned reports.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of three years of project coordination or project support experience, preferably within utilities, construction, or energy sectors.
• Strong organizational abilities with a proven track record of managing multiple concurrent tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Project, and familiarity with scheduling software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to diverse audiences.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of distribution system fundamentals and related regulatory frameworks is a plus.
