About the Role
As the central coordinator for a data‑center‑focused program within Jacobs’ Advanced Manufacturing division, you will guide cross‑functional teams, align stakeholders, and ensure that VDC/BIM standards are consistently applied across all initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Oversee the end‑to‑end delivery of data‑center projects, integrating virtual design and construction workflows with BIM management.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, internal discipline leads, and external partners on program‑related matters.
- Develop and maintain program schedules, budgets, and resource plans while tracking performance against key milestones.
- Implement quality‑control procedures for model coordination, clash detection, and constructability reviews.
- Mentor junior staff, facilitate training sessions, and promote continuous improvement of VDC/BIM processes.
- Report program status to senior leadership, highlighting risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CM‑BIM, LEED) are a plus.
- Proven experience leading large‑scale data‑center or critical‑facility projects using VDC/BIM methodologies.
- Strong proficiency with industry‑standard tools such as Revit, Navisworks, Syncro, and collaboration platforms like BIM 360.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of translating technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing requirements, and drive results in a fast‑paced environment.
- U.S. work authorization and willingness to travel occasionally to project sites or Jacobs offices as needed.
