IntelliPro Group is seeking a Visual Merchandising Designer for a part‑time role located in the Chelsea and Clinton neighborhoods of Manhattan. The position supports the creation and installation of store displays and in‑store visual presentations.
About the Role
This contract opportunity runs for approximately five months and requires onsite presence twenty hours per week. You will partner with senior visual merchandisers to bring seasonal concepts to life across multiple store locations.
What You'll Do
- Assist in developing visual merchandising concepts that align with brand guidelines.
- Prepare presentation boards, sketches, and digital renderings for review.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to source props, fixtures, and materials.
- Execute the installation of window displays, floor sets, and promotional installations.
- Maintain visual standards by performing regular store audits and replenishing merchandise.
- Document completed projects with photos and notes for future reference.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in visual merchandising, retail design, or a related creative field.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or comparable design tools.
- Strong spatial awareness and an eye for detail when arranging products and props.
- Ability to lift and move moderate‑weight fixtures and displays safely.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset for working with cross‑functional teams.
- Availability to work onsite in Manhattan twenty hours per week for the duration of the contract.
