Shift Leader

Bojangles is seeking a dedicated Shift Leader to oversee daily operations at its Redstone Arsenal, Madison County location.

This full‑time position puts you in charge of guiding a team, maintaining service standards, and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied.

About the Role

As a Shift Leader you will be the point of contact for both crew and customers during your assigned shift, helping the restaurant run smoothly while upholding the brand’s reputation for quality Southern‑style food and friendly service.

What You'll Do

• Direct all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service speed, and cleanliness standards.
• Lead, motivate, and schedule a team of up to 20 crew members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Train new hires and provide ongoing development for existing staff to strengthen performance and readiness for advancement.
• Enforce company policies, safety protocols, and cash‑handling procedures to protect both employees and guests.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve concerns promptly to maintain high satisfaction scores.
• Monitor inventory levels, assist with receiving deliveries, and support basic administrative tasks such as shift reports and labor tracking.
• Coordinate opening and closing checklists, ensuring the restaurant is ready for business each day and secured after hours.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a fast‑paced food service, retail, or hospitality setting, with some supervisory or lead responsibility preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly with team members and guests.
• A proven track record of motivating others and resolving conflicts in a calm, professional manner.
• Commitment to following food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines at all times.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require.
• Basic math proficiency for handling cash, processing payments, and managing inventory counts.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality or management training is a plus.
