Production Manager

About the Role

This full‑time position leads cross‑functional teams to ensure on‑time delivery, quality, and safety of aerospace products while driving efficiency and continuous improvement across the production floor.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain production schedules that align with customer demand, program milestones, and capacity constraints.
• Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and quality departments to resolve manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma tools, and Kaizen events to reduce waste and improve throughput.
• Ensure all processes comply with AS9100, FAA regulations, and customer‑specific quality standards.
• Monitor key performance indicators, manage operating budgets, and provide regular performance reports to senior leadership.
• Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols, conducting training sessions, and leading incident investigations.

What We're Looking For

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, industrial technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Minimum of five years of progressive production management experience, preferably in aerospace, defense, or high‑precision manufacturing.
• Strong expertise in production planning, scheduling, and ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, mentor supervisors, and foster a culture of accountability.
• Familiarity with aerospace quality systems, regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
