Material Handler

TIFS is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join its team in Ligonier, Noble County on a full‑time basis.

About the Role

In this position you will support daily warehouse operations by handling materials safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Move and store a variety of materials, parts, and finished products throughout the facility.
• Inspect incoming shipments, verify quantities, and notify supervisors of any shortages or damage.
• Operate standard warehouse equipment such as electronic scales, banding machines, and shrink wrappers to prepare items for shipment.
• Stack palletized loads on skids as needed and transport them to the loading dock for outbound distribution.
• Receive, unpack, and organize materials and supplies, ensuring they are placed in the correct storage locations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area by following all safety protocols and housekeeping standards.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Proven ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy items safely.
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and recording inventory.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when checking shipments.
• Familiarity with manual and automated material‑handling tools, or willingness to learn.
• Effective communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
• Commitment to adhering to workplace safety guidelines and company policies.
