About the Role

As a Checkout Team Associate, you will be the friendly face that greets customers, processes purchases accurately, and ensures the checkout area runs efficiently. The position offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $15 to $28, with the rate guaranteed to meet or exceed the local minimum wage. Eligible team members can also earn annual or quarterly performance bonuses and shift‑based premiums that may add between $0.35 and $3.00 per hour depending on schedule and store needs.

What You'll Do

• Scan items, apply discounts, and process various payment methods including cash, credit, and mobile wallets.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer questions, and resolve minor issues at the register.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout lane, restock supplies, and monitor for safety hazards.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and price adjustments according to store policies.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash drawer balancing and end‑of‑day reporting.
• Collaborate with teammates to keep lines moving and support peak‑period staffing needs.
