Electrician

Ascension Property Services is hiring a skilled Electrician to join its team in Greer, Clearwater County, working full‑time on a variety of residential and commercial projects.

The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while adhering to safety standards and local codes.

About the Role

This position reports to the field supervisor and supports the company’s commitment to delivering reliable electrical services serving the Greenville, Anderson, and Greer area.

What You'll Do

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Install wiring, conduits, lighting fixtures, and control panels in new and existing structures.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot electrical faults to minimize downtime.
• Ensure all work complies with NEC, OSHA, and local municipal regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to keep schedules on track.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle in safe, operable condition.
• Document work completed and provide clear communication to clients and supervisors.

What We're Looking For

• Valid journeyman electrician license or equivalent certification recognized in South Carolina.
• Minimum three years of hands‑on experience in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical work.
• Proficiency with multimeters, conduit benders, fish tapes, and power tools.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory, code requirements, and safety practices.
• Ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and navigate confined spaces.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
• Good communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
