About the Role

As a Business Process Analyst you will partner with program teams to understand current procedures, identify inefficiencies, and recommend data‑driven improvements that support mission objectives. What You'll Do

• Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders to capture existing business processes.
• Map workflows using standard modeling techniques and document findings in clear, actionable reports.
• Analyze process performance metrics to pinpoint bottlenecks, redundancies, or compliance gaps.
• Develop recommendations for process redesign, automation, or policy adjustments that align with federal requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to design implementation plans and monitor adoption.
• Maintain a repository of process documentation, ensuring version control and accessibility for audit purposes.
• Assist in training sessions and create user guides to support smooth transitions to new procedures.
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging tools relevant to process improvement in the public sector.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems, public administration, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Proven experience analyzing business processes, preferably within government contracting or federal services environments.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and basic data analysis (Excel or similar).
• Excellent communication abilities, capable of translating technical details into clear recommendations for diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with federal acquisition regulations (FAR) or related compliance frameworks is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
• Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across functional groups.
