About the Role

As an Assistant Night Manager, you support the Night Manager in overseeing all store operations during the evening shift. You help ensure that merchandise is stocked, the facility is clean and safe, and members receive excellent service while the club is closed to the public.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and coach night‑shift associates, providing direction and feedback to maintain productivity and morale.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate receiving and put‑away processes, and perform cycle counts to keep stock accurate.
• Maintain store appearance by overseeing cleaning schedules, merchandise presentation, and safety checks throughout the night.
• Handle cash‑office duties, including preparing deposits, balancing registers, and securing funds according to company policy.
• Address member inquiries and resolve issues that arise after regular hours, ensuring a positive experience for late‑night shoppers.
• Assist with scheduling, time‑keeping, and adherence to labor laws, while promoting a culture of attendance and punctuality.
• Support the implementation of promotional sets, planograms, and visual merchandising directives as directed by management.
• Report operational concerns, safety hazards, or policy violations to the Night Manager or appropriate leadership promptly.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or retail‑management coursework is a plus.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or lead role within retail, grocery, or warehouse environments.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team and communicate clearly.
• Comfort working overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays, with reliable attendance.
• Basic math proficiency for cash handling, inventory reconciliation, and scheduling tasks.
• Familiarity with safety standards and loss‑prevention practices in a high‑volume retail setting.
• Ability to lift moderate weights, stand for extended periods, and navigate the sales floor and back‑of‑house areas.
• Proficiency with standard retail technology such as point‑of‑sale systems, inventory scanners, and scheduling tools.
