CDL DRIVER

US Foods, Inc. is seeking a dedicated CDL Driver to join its team in Brooks, Marion County on a full‑time basis.

About the Role

As a Class A driver you will be responsible for transporting foodservice products safely and efficiently to various customer locations. The position involves handling multi‑yard trips to support route start‑up and maintaining compliance with all Department of Transportation regulations.

What You'll Do

• Operate tractor‑trailer combinations to deliver goods to assigned accounts.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, documenting any issues.
• Load and unload merchandise using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
• Complete required paperwork, including delivery logs and receipts.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers to ensure timely service.
• Adhere to safety policies, including hours‑of‑service rules and vehicle maintenance standards.
• Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance driving skills and product knowledge.

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to handle multi‑yard trips and adapt to changing route demands.
• Strong commitment to safety and punctuality.
• Good communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Physical capability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
