Recruiter

West Shore Home is seeking a Recruiter to join their talent acquisition team in Harrisburg, Dauphin County.

About the Role

This full-time position supports the company’s growth by identifying and attracting skilled professionals for a variety of roles across the organization. You will partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective sourcing strategies that align with West Shore Home’s mission of delivering high‑quality home improvement solutions.

What You'll Do

• Source candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, and networking events
• Screen resumes, conduct initial phone interviews, and coordinate interview panels
• Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system
• Provide a positive candidate experience by communicating timelines and feedback promptly
• Assist with offer preparation, background checks, and onboarding logistics
• Track recruiting metrics and report on time‑to‑fill, source effectiveness, and pipeline health
• Collaborate with HR on employer branding initiatives and campus recruiting efforts
• Stay current on industry trends and compliance requirements related to recruitment

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in full‑cycle recruiting, preferably within a fast‑paced or retail‑focused environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and basic HRIS tools
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail when managing multiple requisitions
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for presenting candidate summaries
• Familiarity with sourcing techniques such as Boolean search, social recruiting, and talent pooling
• A proactive mindset and the ability to adapt priorities as business needs evolve
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
