About the Role

Join a dedicated pharmacy team that supports patients with specialty medications. This full‑time role focuses on accurate billing and reimbursement processes to ensure timely access to therapy.

What You'll Do

• Process insurance claims for specialty pharmacy prescriptions
• Verify patient eligibility, benefits, and prior authorization requirements
• Post payments, adjustments, and contractual allowances to patient accounts
• Follow up on denied, rejected, or underpaid claims and initiate appeals
• Maintain precise billing records in accordance with company and regulatory standards
• Communicate with healthcare providers, patients, and payers to resolve billing inquiries
• Assist with monthly reconciliation and reporting tasks as directed by the Billing Supervisor

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare billing environment
• Strong understanding of insurance claim submission and payment posting
• Proficiency with billing software and electronic health record systems
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of transactions
• Effective communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external contacts
• Willingness to complete a three‑week on‑site training program
• Availability to work the scheduled shift of 12:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with rotating weekend coverage
