AI Platform Lead (gn)

Artificial Intelligence is transforming the way we work, make decisions, and automate processes. As an AI Platform Lead, you will play a key role in building, evolving, and operating our AI platforms and AI services.

Working at the intersection of technology, security, governance, and business, you will ensure that modern AI capabilities can be deployed across the organization in a secure, scalable, and sustainable way. You will take ownership of new AI initiatives, structure complex challenges, and drive projects from initial concept through successful implementation.

Due to organizational and regulatory requirements, this position requires residency in Germany.

 

Your mission

Own and Evolve AI Platforms

• You are responsible for the introduction, continuous development, and operation of our AI platforms and AI services
• You evaluate new technologies, capabilities, and integrations and translate them into sustainable platform strategies
• You ensure that our AI landscape remains secure, scalable, and future-ready

Shape Governance, Security, and Standards

• You design governance frameworks, role and permission models, and technical guardrails for the use of AI across the organization
• You work closely with Security, Engineering, and other stakeholders to introduce new AI capabilities responsibly
• You assess platforms, integrations, and AI services with regard to risk, compliance, and technical feasibility

Drive AI Initiatives and Enable Teams

• You take ownership of new AI-related challenges and business requirements
• You analyze requirements, develop recommendations, and drive initiatives through to implementation
• You support business teams in adopting AI effectively and securely while acting as a trusted technical sparring partner for Business, Security, and Engineering
• When needed, you remain hands-on and contribute to integrations, automation initiatives, architecture concepts, and platform solutions

Your experience & skills

• You have several years of experience building, operating, or evolving platforms, cloud solutions, or technical services
• You bring hands-on experience with modern AI platforms and ecosystems (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Azure AI, Vertex AI, Bedrock, or comparable technologies)
• You have a strong understanding of APIs, integrations, authentication, and role-based access concepts
• You are familiar with security, governance, and compliance requirements in an enterprise environment
• You can structure, evaluate, and communicate technical decisions effectively
• You work independently, pragmatically, and with a strong solution-oriented mindset
• You are comfortable bringing structure to complex or ambiguous topics and driving them forward
• You communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and are passionate about exploring emerging technologies and their potential for the business
