THE KIND OF WORK YOU’LL SHAPE

Do you think about what an experience should feel like before you work out how to build it? Good. That’s where this starts.
We make work that spills into physical space, reacts to people, and doesn’t need an explanation.

THE ROLE

You’re an individual contributor. Here to make things, not manage them.
Rapid prototyping, physical build, real-time tools. The work lives on screen and in space. TouchDesigner, game engines, sensors are your everyday. You’ll also help shape how the wider team thinks about creative tech through the work you make and the thinking you share.

WHAT YOU’LL DRIVE

• Build immersive, spatial, and phygital experiences from first sketch to physical installation
• Lead R&D across AI, AR, VR, generative design, and physical computing. Stay ahead of where it’s all going
• Rapid prototype across software and hardware to test ideas before they’re fully formed
• Bring creative tech into briefs and pitches early, not as a last step
• Set the foundations for how Kulfi approaches creative technology as a practice

WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE DIFFERENT

• This is a maker role. The output is work, not decks about work
• You’re building the creative tech practice at Kulfi. What you establish here becomes the foundation
• The work has to resonate culturally, not just technically. That bar matters here
• You’ll work across disciplines from day one: strategy, creative, production

WHO YOU ARE

• Solid, hands-on experience building immersive, spatial, or phygital experiences
• TouchDesigner is part of your regular toolkit, not something you’ve dabbled in
• Comfortable across game engines, physical computing, and real-time tools. Unreal, Unity, Arduino, Raspberry Pi
• You move across 3D, generative design, and spatial formats without losing momentum
• Rapid prototyping is how you think, not just how you present
• Can translate what you’ve made into something a client understands and gets excited about
