About the Client

What You’ll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain internal and external RESTful APIs for distributed, multi-tier systems
  • Apply microservices and service-oriented architecture principles to design scalable systems
  • Contribute to cloud-native architecture evolution, including event-driven and distributed patterns
  • Develop and deploy services using Microsoft Azure and modern cloud platforms
  • Work across API management, messaging, and distributed system layers
  • Design and optimize data models using T-SQL and relational database principles
  • Ensure high performance through query optimization and scalable system design
  • Implement API security, including authentication, authorization, and data protection

What You Bring

  • Extensive experience in building services using C#, modern.NET/.NET Core, and ASP.NET Core Web API
  • Strong expertise in RESTful API design and API-first engineering practices
  • Experience with Cloud Platforms ( Azure, AWS) 
  • Experience with microservices and service-oriented architecture
  • Experience in relational database design, T-SQL, stored procedures and functions Experience designing large-scale distributed systems
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tooling (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or comparable agentic coding tools)

Nice to have 

  • Familiarity with domain-driven design (DDD) and CQRS patterns
  • Experience with modern.NET/.NET Core, including.NET 6+ or later, for building scalable API services
  • Experience with OpenAPI/Swagger for API documentation, contract design, and client integration
