Emergent Labs
Emergent builds autonomous coding agents that replace traditional software development by generating, testing, and deploying production applications directly from plain-language intent. Our systems run in production at global scale and are used to build millions of real applications.
Since public launch, Emergent has crossed $100M in ARR and grown to over 10M users across 190+ countries. We’re backed by Khosla Ventures, SoftBank, Google, Lightspeed, Prosus, Together, and Y Combinator.
We’re solving the hard part of AI-driven software creation: correctness, reliability, security, and scale in real production systems. The team is built by repeat founders, Olympiad medalists, IIT & IIM alumni, and leaders from Google, Amazon, and Dropbox.
We’re hiring builders who want ownership, speed, and impact at global scale.
The Role:
Our Agent Reliability Engineers (ARE) support customers who use AI to build applications across web, mobile, backend, DevOps, and full-stack environments — many of them non-technical builders shipping everything from simple websites to complex SaaS products. When customers hit issues, the ARE team diagnoses, troubleshoots, and resolves them while delivering a great customer experience. As Enablement Manager, you’ll own onboarding, training, coaching, and continuous upskilling for this team, combining technical depth, communication skill, customer empathy, and learning & development expertise to keep engineers effective as the AI landscape keeps shifting underneath them.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and run onboarding: build structured learning paths and certification programs covering platform knowledge, troubleshooting methodology, AI workflows, and customer support fundamentals for new Agent Reliability Engineers
- Drive technical enablement: run workshops on debugging across frontend (React, Next.js, JavaScript), backend (Node.js, Python), APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, mobile, and AI agent orchestration, and turn fast-moving platform changes into clear, practical learning content
- Coach for quality: monitor support interactions, audit tickets and calls, and run coaching and communication workshops that sharpen technical investigation and customer-handling skills across the team
- Support live operations: act as subject matter expert during escalations, spot recurring trends in customer tickets, and partner with Operations, Product, and Engineering to close knowledge gaps and define best practices for triage and troubleshooting
- Own knowledge management: build and maintain SOPs, playbooks, and troubleshooting guides, and establish ways to capture and share learnings from complex cases as products and AI technologies evolve
Who You Are:
- 5+ years in Technical Support, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Technical Training, or Learning & Development, with a track record of designing and delivering training programs and facilitating workshops
- Strong grasp of modern software development, with hands-on experience in one or more of JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Python, or React, and comfort troubleshooting web apps, APIs, deployments, and cloud-based systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify highly technical concepts for diverse, often non-technical audiences
- Deep curiosity about AI and emerging technology, ideally with experience around AI products, LLMs, agents, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted development platforms
- Customer-first mindset paired with a strong technical troubleshooting instinct and experience supporting SaaS products or technical support operations
- Ability to influence without authority, a genuine passion for coaching others, and experience building certification programs or competency frameworks
Why Join Us:
- Shape how millions of builders succeed: your training and coaching directly determine how fast and how well customers get unstuck on Emergent
- Define a new function from the ground up: build the enablement playbook for a team supporting AI agents, in a stack that changes every month
- Work with a high-caliber, maker-first team solving frontier AI problems
- Competitive compensation and meaningful equity, with a clear path to scale your own function as the team grows
Benefits and Perks:
- Daily Meals: Lunch and Dinner provided
- Family Insurance: 3 Lakhs worth of coverage for you and your family
- Unlimited Paid Time Off: Take the time you need to recharge and come back refreshed
- Flexible Working Hours: Work arrangements that fit your life and commitments
