About the Role
As a Ramp Agent with AGI, you'll deliver essential ground support operations that directly impact flight operations and passenger experience. Working on the tarmac in Nashville, you'll handle time-sensitive tasks with precision while maintaining the highest safety standards. This part-time position offers the opportunity to work in a hands-on aviation environment with one of the industry's largest independently owned ground handling providers, which serves 100 airlines across 61 airports nationwide.
What You'll Do
- Load and unload cargo, baggage, and passenger equipment from aircraft
- Operate ground support equipment including tow vehicles, belt loaders, and deicing equipment
- Tow and push aircraft to and from gates following strict operational procedures
- Assist with aircraft servicing, fueling coordination, and lavatory operations
- Conduct pre-flight and post-flight exterior inspections and cleanings
- Coordinate with flight crew, operations, and other ground personnel to ensure on-time performance
- Respond promptly to changing weather conditions and operational demands
- Adhere to all FAA, airline, and company safety regulations and protocols
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform repetitive tasks
- Strong focus on safety and attention to detail
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Willingness to follow detailed procedures and instructions
- Availability for part-time hours, including potential early mornings, evenings, or weekends
