About the Role

As a Recovery Clerk, you'll be part of the financial operations team supporting BJ's Wholesale Club's mission to help members save. Working part-time hours, you'll handle account management and collection activities that keep our business running smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in business operations while maintaining a flexible schedule.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and manage member accounts, identifying and processing overdue balances
• Prepare and send account statements, collection notices, and payment reminders
• Document account activities and maintain detailed records in company systems
• Contact members regarding account status and payment arrangements when needed
• Process payments and credits accurately, reconciling transactions daily
• Research account discrepancies and work toward resolution
• Support the accounting department with reporting and administrative tasks

What We're Looking For

• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, especially with financial data
• Proficiency with computer systems, spreadsheets, and data entry
• Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
