About the Role

The Agriculture Facilities and Grounds Care Associate plays a vital role in preserving the quality and safety of Frost Valley YMCA's physical environment. You'll manage agricultural spaces, equestrian facilities, pastures, and grounds across our multiple sites—East Valley Ranch, Frost Valley Farm, and Main Camp. This work directly supports our mission to provide transformative outdoor and agricultural programming by ensuring our facilities are well-maintained, secure, and operational year-round.

What You'll Do

• Maintain paddocks, fencing, and pasture areas to ensure safe conditions for livestock and equestrian activities
• Perform routine upkeep on agricultural facilities, barns, and support structures
• Support daily livestock care operations and equestrian program requirements
• Manage grounds work including mowing, landscaping, and seasonal property maintenance
• Inspect facilities regularly to identify and address maintenance needs
• Contribute to a safe, clean, and inviting environment for campers and visitors
• Work across multiple campus locations as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Experience with grounds maintenance, landscaping, or agricultural work
• Ability to operate basic equipment and tools safely
• Physical capability to perform manual labor and outdoor work in varied weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Reliability and willingness to support a collaborative team environment
• Valid driver's license preferred
