About the Role
As a Maintenance Technician at Par Mar Stores, you'll perform critical preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, building systems, and facilities. This is a full-time position requiring a standard Monday through Friday schedule, with on-call availability for emergency maintenance needs during evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. You'll be equipped with a company vehicle and fuel card to respond efficiently to maintenance calls.
What You'll Do
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and prevent downtime
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls outside standard business hours
- Document maintenance activities and track equipment performance
- Collaborate with store managers and operations teams to address facility needs
- Maintain safety standards and comply with all applicable regulations
What We're Looking For
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation history
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar hands-on maintenance role
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Physical ability to lift, climb, and work in various conditions
- Willingness to respond to emergency calls and maintain on-call availability
