About the Role
As a CNA with Right at Home Chesterfield, you'll work directly with clients and their families to deliver daily living assistance and personal care. You'll be part of a small care team focused on maintaining each client's dignity, safety, and quality of life.
What You'll Do
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living
- Help clients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
- Monitor vital signs and report observations to nursing supervisors
- Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable home environments for clients
- Provide companionship and emotional support during care
- Communicate with clients, families, and the care team about needs and any changes in condition
- Follow individualized care plans and document care activities accurately
- Apply infection control and safety practices in all client interactions
What We're Looking For
- Current CNA certification or equivalent state credential
- Genuine empathy and patience working with seniors and adults
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to assist with client mobility and personal care safely
- Reliable transportation and consistent, dependable attendance
- Respect for client privacy, dignity, and individual preferences
- Ability to follow care instructions and work independently
- Passing background check (required for healthcare employment)
