EPC Services Company is hiring a Senior Project Manager specializing in high-voltage construction for our Cranford, Union County office. This is a full-time role perfect for an experienced construction professional ready to lead complex power and utility infrastructure projects from conception through completion.
About the Role
As Senior Project Manager at this leading power and utility engineering firm, you'll oversee large-scale HV construction initiatives, managing budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams. You'll serve as the primary point of contact between clients, engineering teams, and field operations—driving projects to successful completion while maintaining safety and quality standards.
What You'll Do
- Plan, schedule, and budget construction projects from proposal through closeout
- Lead and mentor project teams including engineers, foremen, and subcontractors
- Manage client relationships and stakeholder communications throughout project lifecycle
- Monitor project performance against KPIs, identifying risks and implementing solutions
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and utility standards
- Coordinate procurement, logistics, and resource allocation for on-time delivery
- Track project costs, manage change orders, and maintain profitability
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of project management experience in construction or utility sectors
- Proven expertise managing high-voltage or complex infrastructure projects
- PMP certification or equivalent professional credential
- Strong command of project management software and construction tools
- Leadership experience with ability to motivate and guide technical teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
