About the Role

As a Design Technician specializing in site design and municipal projects, you'll create the technical foundation that transforms vision into reality. You'll develop site plans, construction drawings, and design documents that guide municipal infrastructure, public spaces, and development projects. Working within our design studio, you'll contribute technical expertise across the full project lifecycle—from initial site analysis through construction documentation.

What You'll Do

• Prepare comprehensive site plans and technical drawings for municipal and site design projects
• Use industry-standard CAD software to develop accurate, detailed design documentation
• Analyze site conditions, topography, and municipal requirements to inform design decisions
• Collaborate with engineers, planners, and architects to refine designs and resolve technical challenges
• Ensure all drawings and specifications comply with municipal codes, regulations, and standards
• Support project teams through design development, permitting, and construction documentation phases
• Maintain accurate project records and contribute to quality assurance processes

What We're Looking For

• Proficiency in CAD software and demonstrated ability to produce high-quality technical drawings
• Strong understanding of site design principles, municipal regulations, and infrastructure standards
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in technical documentation
• Ability to communicate effectively with interdisciplinary project teams
• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a collaborative environment
• Associate degree in civil engineering technology, landscape design, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
