EchoStar is hiring a full-time Field Technician in Lowell, Benton County to install, maintain, and troubleshoot connectivity solutions for customers throughout the region. This hands-on role puts you directly in the field supporting satellite television, smart home systems, and mobile connectivity services.
About the Role
As a Field Technician with EchoStar, you'll be the technical expert our customers rely on to get connected. Working independently and as part of a service team, you'll handle installation, repair, and maintenance work on satellite equipment, home automation systems, and related technologies. This is a full-time position based in Lowell, Benton County, where you'll serve residential and commercial customers throughout the service area.
What You'll Do
- Install, configure, and test satellite television and home connectivity equipment at customer locations
- Diagnose technical issues and perform troubleshooting on in-home systems and network components
- Perform routine maintenance and system optimization to ensure reliable service
- Document all work accurately and maintain service records
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain technical issues and solutions
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to company standards on every job site
- Drive to multiple service locations throughout the service territory
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to read technical manuals and diagrams
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work with hand tools and electronic equipment
- Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor
- Previous field service or installation experience preferred but not required
