Gpac is hiring a Litigation Paralegal to support our legal team in Encino, Los Angeles County. This is a full-time position for an organized, detail-focused professional who excels at managing complex litigation matters and preparing court documents.
About the Role
As a Litigation Paralegal, you'll be the backbone of our case management operations, working closely with attorneys to move litigation forward efficiently. You'll handle document preparation, evidence management, deadline tracking, and client communication—the core functions that keep legal matters on track from filing through resolution.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and organize legal documents, pleadings, motions, and correspondence for court filings and opposing counsel
- Conduct legal research using case law databases and statutory resources to support attorney strategy
- Maintain comprehensive case files, ensuring all documents are properly indexed, stored, and accessible
- Manage litigation calendars and track critical deadlines to prevent procedural missteps
- Coordinate discovery processes, including organizing and reviewing documents for production
- Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel regarding case status and document requests
- Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit organization and witness coordination
What We're Looking For
- Paralegal certification or equivalent professional experience in litigation law
- Demonstrated expertise in legal research and court procedure requirements
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to juggle multiple cases simultaneously
- Proficiency with legal document management systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all legal documentation
- Ability to work independently while remaining responsive to attorney direction
