CyberCoders, an award-winning consumer protection firm, is hiring a Litigation Associate (Lemon Law) in Pasadena, Los Angeles County. This is a full-time position ideal for a newly admitted or junior attorney excited to build a litigation practice in lemon law and vehicle defect cases.
About the Role
Join a results-driven legal team focused on representing consumers against manufacturers in vehicle defect disputes. As a Lemon Law Litigation Associate in our Pasadena office, you'll gain hands-on trial and settlement experience while serving clients in one of consumer law's most rewarding specialties. This role offers mentorship, professional growth, and direct exposure to all phases of litigation.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate consumer lemon law claims, conduct initial intake interviews, and assess case viability
- Prepare legal motions, discovery requests, and court filings for vehicle defect litigation
- Conduct legal research on manufacturer warranties, state lemon law statutes, and consumer protection regulations
- Manage document review, organize evidence, and build case narratives
- Prepare for and participate in depositions, settlement conferences, and court proceedings
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carriers throughout the litigation process
- Support senior attorneys in trial preparation and courtroom representation
What We're Looking For
- Licensed California attorney with 1–2 years of litigation experience or recent law school graduate
- Strong legal writing and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet court deadlines
- Customer-focused mindset with genuine interest in consumer advocacy
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of independent work with supervision
- Willingness to learn lemon law practice and develop trial skills
