Program Director BSN

Florida National University seeks a dedicated Program Director BSN for our Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, based in Hialeah Gardens, Miami-Dade County. This full-time leadership role offers the opportunity to drive nursing education excellence while partnering with our Department Head to advance program quality, student outcomes, and institutional impact across our Miami campus.

About the Role

As Program Director of our BSN program, you will serve as a key academic leader overseeing the strategic direction, development, and day-to-day operations of this vital nursing degree offering. Working collaboratively with the Department Head and faculty, you will ensure the program maintains rigorous standards, meets accreditation requirements, and delivers exceptional education to our nursing students. Your leadership will span curriculum innovation, faculty coordination, student success initiatives, and stakeholder engagement.

What You'll Do

• Develop and oversee curriculum aligned with current nursing accreditation standards and healthcare industry needs
• Lead recruitment and enrollment efforts to maintain strong student cohorts in the BSN program
• Coordinate faculty resources, mentoring, and professional development activities
• Ensure regulatory compliance with Florida nursing board requirements and accreditation bodies
• Monitor and improve student academic performance, retention, and graduation metrics
• Manage program budgets and allocate resources strategically
• Build and maintain partnerships with clinical sites and healthcare organizations
• Conduct program assessment and implement continuous quality improvement initiatives
• Serve as program representative in university committees and professional forums

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher with current Florida RN licensure
• Minimum 5 years of professional nursing experience with demonstrated leadership capability
• Expertise in nursing education, program management, or curriculum development
• Knowledge of nursing accreditation standards and regulatory compliance
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills
• Strategic mindset focused on student learning outcomes and program excellence
