About the Role
As part of our Food & Beverage team, you'll contribute to the distinctive guest experience that defines Highgate's collection of culturally inspired hotels. This role combines daily operational responsibilities with the opportunity to grow your hospitality career while living and working in the charming Lowcountry region.
What You'll Do
- Deliver attentive, personalized service to hotel guests in food and beverage settings
- Support food and beverage operations including preparation, service, and hospitality coordination
- Maintain our standards for cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction
- Collaborate with team members to create seamless experiences across dining and event spaces
- Respond professionally to guest requests and special needs
- Support the unique cultural and artistic atmosphere that guests expect from our properties
What We're Looking For
- Valid J1 Visa status or eligibility for the J1 exchange visitor program
- Genuine enthusiasm for hospitality and guest service
- Ability to work full-time and adapt to shifting hotel operations schedules
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn from colleagues
- Physical ability to perform hospitality duties and maintain pace during service periods
- Reliability and professional demeanor in a team environment
