About the Role
As a Cook / Grill Operator, you'll be at the heart of our kitchen operations, preparing quality meals with speed and precision during your assigned shifts. Working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, you'll develop skills on our industry-leading cooking equipment while maintaining the high standards Waffle House is known for.
What You'll Do
- Operate grills, fryers, and other cooking equipment to prepare menu items accurately and efficiently
- Follow established recipes and food preparation standards to ensure consistent quality
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen workspace and adhere to food safety and sanitation protocols
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to manage order flow during peak service periods
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and report any issues to management
- Work collaboratively with your team to provide excellent customer service through quality food preparation
