Chief Operating Officer

Aardvark Studios is seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer to lead operations for our Conshohocken, Montgomery County–based experiential marketing firm. In this full-time leadership position, you'll drive strategic execution and operational excellence that transforms ambitious creative concepts into unforgettable live experiences, mobile exhibitions, and custom-built installations.

About the Role

You'll take ownership of production workflows, project delivery, and team management across our operations. Your leadership will span the entire lifecycle of our work—from engineering and fabrication through technology integration and on-site event execution. You'll be instrumental in scaling our capabilities, strengthening client partnerships, and building the operational infrastructure that enables sustainable growth.

What You'll Do

• Lead production and operations teams, establishing standards for quality, safety, and accountability
• Oversee project timelines, fabrication workflows, and resource allocation to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
• Drive operational efficiency through process improvement, systems implementation, and best practices
• Manage staffing, logistics, and maintenance for deployed experiences across client engagements
• Build and strengthen client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships
• Collaborate with ownership on strategic planning, business development, and organizational growth
• Ensure technical integration, quality standards, and compliance across all project phases

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as Chief Operating Officer, Director of Operations, or equivalent role in event, experiential marketing, production, or manufacturing
• Demonstrated expertise managing complex projects, teams, and operational budgets
• Strong background in fabrication, engineering, technical production, or construction workflows
• Track record building and leading high-performing teams in fast-paced environments
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and client management abilities
• Entrepreneurial leadership style with commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement
• Willingness to be based in or relocate to the Conshohocken, Montgomery County area
