About the Role
As a Process Engineer at this Conagra Brands location, you'll own projects and systems that keep our production running smoothly and efficiently. You'll analyze real-time operational data to identify where improvements matter most, then execute solutions that boost reliability and reduce waste. You'll take the lead on structured problem-solving efforts and direct small-scale improvement projects from concept through completion.
What You'll Do
- Champion daily operational management systems and frameworks that enable consistent, measurable improvements
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance equipment reliability and reduce unexpected downtime
- Drive digital modernization initiatives that streamline processes and provide better visibility into plant performance
- Review production metrics and performance indicators to spot opportunities and prioritize action plans
- Lead cross-functional teams through structured problem-solving and root-cause analysis
- Build technical knowledge and capabilities among plant employees through training and guidance
What We're Looking For
- Engineering background or degree in process engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing systems, equipment maintenance, or production optimization
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Proven ability to lead small projects and see them through to completion
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working across departments
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and continuous improvement orientation
